Shul Choir

The Whitefield Shul Choir was launched by Chazan Muller soon after his arrival in the community. Over the past decade, through the leadership of the late Ivor Dietch and then Tim Dempsey, the choir has developed into a strong, colourful and much appreciated asset to the Shul.

Tackling complicated classics from Koussevitsky, Lewandovski and Himmelstein, alongside more modern arrangements by Benjamin Muller, the choir’s repertoire is over 60 strong and is used to enhance the Shul’s services on a regular Shabbat, for simchas or on Yom Tov, with a highlight being Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.
